The advantages of LPG are as follows:

Because if it's relatively fewer components, it is easy to achieve the correct fuel to air mix ratio that allows the complete combustion of the product. This gives LPG its clean burning characteristics.
Both Propane and Butane are easily liquefied and stored in pressure containers. These properties make the fuel highly portable, and hence, can be easily transported in cylinders or tanks to end-users.
LPG is a good substitute for petrol in spark ignition engines. Its clean burning properties, in a properly tuned engine, give reduced exhaust emissions, extended lubricant and spark plug life.
As a replacement for aerosol propellants and refrigerants, LPG provides alternatives to fluorocarbons which are known to cause deterioration of the earth's ozone layer. The clean burning properties and portability of LPG provide a substitute for indigenous fuels such as wood, coal, and other organic matter. This provides a solution to de-forestation and the reduction of particulate matter in the atmosphere (haze), caused by burning the indigenous fuels.

LPG or Liquefied Petroleum Gas is a general description of Propane (the chemical formula for propane (40%) is C3H8) and Butane (the chemical formula for Butane (60%) is C4H10), either stored separately or together as a mix.

It is called LPG because both Propane & Butane can be liquefied at normal temperature by application of a moderate pressure increase or at normal pressure by application of cooling using refrigeration.

Domestic LPG prices of the government companies are regulated by the Government of India and do not reflect the realities of high crude and refined product prices. Moreover the PSU LPG refill prices are subsidized by the Government through issuance of oil bonds to the public sector oil companies. This compensation is not available for private LPG suppliers. Hence the price of the LPG refill is and shall always remain higher than the PSU LPG refill.

The seal of the cylinder should be intact. The safety cap should not have any cracks. You will receive a cash memo for the payment made by you towards the LPG refill.

Yes they can be appointed. has the right to appoint any number of franchisees in any district. This will happen due to the geographical size of the district. However there is a specific territory that has been ear-marked for each franchisee which is described in the letter of Intent. The franchisee, to whom a territory is allotted, is the exclusive supplier of LPG in the mentioned area. No other franchisee of can supply LPG in that territory.

Every franchisee has to have a warehouse constructed as per my gas specifications before receiving any delivery. LPG supplies can only be made to a licensed warehouse. Hence giving out a franchisee is not possible without the warehouse licenses being completed.

If you require a sub-franchisee to be appointed in your district the same can be arranged with the consent of my gas and with the relevant documentation being in place.
