Corporate Social Responsibility, often abbreviated "CSR," is a corporation's initiatives to assess and take responsibility for the company's effects on environmental and social well being. The term generally applies to efforts that go beyond what may be required by regulators or environmental protection groups.

WGPL carries out various initiatives for the well being of the people from below the poverty line by providing them free 4 kg LPG cylinders with regulator, pipe and stove. This gives an opportunity for the beneficiary to move away from the traditional sources of cooking and/or heating {cow dung; wood; coal etc} and move to a healthier and safer fuel i.e. LPG.

WGPL is aggressively carrying out this activity without any motto of earning profits for themselves. The only motto that we at WGPL are working on is "plant and nurture 5 {five} saplings and from our side, take 1 unit of our 4 kg LPG cylinder free of cost".
